    Default Glow plugs....AGAIN

My glow plug indication is staying lit forever again, just had the controller replaced and it fixed the problem, now its back. Curious if anyone has had any problems with the new glow plug system that came with the new lly+ engines besides me?

Well, I haven't had any problems with my glow plugs so far (LLY 2005 27,000 on it).

My dad had problems on his 83 (6.2L) where it started to blow them out ~ every 3 months. The problem was a intermittent (bad) ground connection to the controller.

Took my LBZ in for the recall last week and was done in 30 min. I was not having any problems but I thought that I had better have it done. Better safe then sorry.

I've got 5,500 on my 06 LBZ with no problems. I just had it in for the first service last weekend and they didn't say anything about the recall and I didn't know anything about it at the time. I checked my VIN # and mine is one of the ones with the recall. Kind of aggrivating when I had it at the dealer last week and there was a recall that went out in March and they didn't say anything about it, now I've got to waste another Saturday morning at the dealer. I haven't received anything from GMC about a recall, I had to call them to confirm it from my VIN#.

Doesn't look like bargain to me. Also, the product description is no different than OEM. With shipping, the price will be close the the dealer's list price. There are much better deals available, many from TDP advertisers.
