Thumbs up Lube Specialist Oil Lines and Cooler

I just installed the upgraded oil lines with new cooler kit from lube specialist on my 1992 6.5LTD 4x4 Auto 4L80E and wanted to tell all who needed this upgrade too because my lines were leaking so bad as to be washing down the engine with oil everywhere...
I called Greg and left message who called me back soon after. I spoke with him about his kit but it was not listed for my year truck. He explained that the lines run different on the newer trucks and he could not be sure this kit would work on my truck. Now at about 1/2 the cost of other kits I was looking at, I told him I would be his test subject and bought the kit.
Now on my truck the oil lines run from the engine back towards the trans then turn around the exhaust manifold and run on the wheel well to the front of the truck. His kit and I assume the newer trucks run from the engine and go forward over the engine mount under the exhaust manifold. This would mean that the new lines would be to short.
Now, I removed the old lines and cooler, after removing the grill for the cooler, and the oil filter adapter (1 large bolt 1 3/8") to get to the engine fittings, which came out much easier than I thought they would. Work them back and fourth until fitting spins free from lines and unthread from block.
The new brass 90 deg inner fitting screws right in, the outer fitting does not clear the exhaust manifold casting bulge above flange area, so I used a 4" grinder to grind this down to the header flange. As you would have guessed the cross over pipe has to be removed to do this and I had just replaced this a few months back with a ceramic crossover and used never sieze on the bolts so it removed without any problems but did break 3 bolts when this was replaced this so this could be a problem if your bolts are rusted fast.
The new lines have no problem running forward from the engine block fittings under the exhaust manifold and over the engine mount forward over stearing box to left of stearing lines out under rad support up to new cooler which mounts in the exact location using the existing bolts from the old cooler.

Hope this helps anyone who needs to do this.
And only bled from 2 knuckes this time...lol

I'd suggest fire sleeves at all locations that are near exhaust, while expensive it insures you have no heat related issues w/oil lines.
