    Default 6.2 Diesel Cnadidate?

I have a rebuilt 6.2 that's been looking for a home. I have a 1994 Baby Blazer with a bad 4.3, and I've have considered stuffing the 6.2 in there.

Now, this DIESEL Cutlass has come up for sale locally. I wonder how tough it would be to swap the 5.7 out for the 6.2, and what the mileage potentially would be.

Anyone know the weight differance between a 5.7 diesel, and a 6.2?

It's been done (in similar cars), do some searchin on the forum. I don't know what a 5.7 diesel weighs, but I'll bet it's about ~200 lbs. less.

I stuffed a 455 in one of those cutlasses a number of years ago and it fit.
The only real issue is that olds used the odd tranny bolt patern. Either go to a chevy tranny or use an adaptor.
Would make a very spunky Cutlass
