Duramax Swap Into '92 - '00 Truck?

Anybody done this yet? I notice that that prices of used engines from 2001 are starting to come down. I'm hoping it's possible. -- Matt

Holy Smokes! The DieselPage.com, the parent of this very forum sells a manual for this very conversion. I there a discussion section to support this swap? I'd order the manual if I knew a little more about the swap. I mean I need a general idea of the difficulty before I commit. -- Matt

There have been a few conversions completed. I saw Arlie's 1993 Chevy K3500 "work in progress" a couple of days ago.

I read what was available at the links you posted. Very interesting. Dropping a Cummins into a Ford looks dead simple by comparision, but I can't picture myself with a Ford, especially a mid-nineties model Thanks for the tips. -- Matt
