    Default Bully Dog Power Pup

Does anybody have any experience with the Power Pup. A friend of mine wants me to try his on my LLY. I am bone stock, so my question is this. Is there any risk using the first tune ( 50hp ) with stock exhaust and intake, to see what kind of mpg increase I can get? Also is a drop in K&N air filter worth the extra bucks? Thanks.

You can run the first stage 'tow tune' safely without mods. If the tune produces black smoke under tow, don't run it - unburned fuel = high EGTs.

I think OEM paper filters changed regularly are the way to go on diesels. Have had K&N and similars clog up and pass way too much through. Keep it simple.

Thanks Mark. I think I'll give a try.
