Arrow Banks Sidewinder Turbocharger kits to be discontinued?

I heard this today from a fellow 6.2 owner. Word is Banks will produce the kit till about June or thereabouts..... Dwindling demand, they say....

Well poop! I've always wanted one but haven't invested because I have such high mileage on my rigs. I guess I was waiting till a rebuild to buy the kit. I wonder if they'll have a clearance sale??

There is a ton of that stuff out there and a lot of it will come up for sale on places like craigs list and ebay.

Keep an eye out and you can find stuff at reasonable prices.

I bought 2 kits recently, one came with a complete Banks kit plus a complete 6.2 engine for $1200

I can understand Banks not wanting to keep the stuff on the shelf as a kit though since its been 14 years since a 6.2 was available in a civilian rig.
I would imagine they will keep parts like manifolds and stuff for a few nore years to take care of customers replacement needs

I found mine at pick-a-part or one of those places.

After having everything rebuilt, and re-doing the entire exhaust system (from banks), I probably ended up costing only a few hundred less than buying a new kit.
