    Default 6.2 swap into a 1990 yj jeep

    i have a 1983 chevy 6.2 with a t400 tranny thinking about swaping it into my 1990 yj. Am i crazy? i know it it just like a reg 350 and more weight. has anyone here swaped one?

    Yup.

    Not into a YJ, but close enough.
    1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer...new 6.5 in process...diamond block, 18:1's, other goodies...

    I think it would be a good swap.
    1993 K3500 - Peninsular 18:1 engine, marine injectors, high capacity cooling, AL Core Radiator, 3" DP and 4" exhaust, ISSPRO Gauges, Girdle, AMSOIL Dual Oil Filter System, 1997 Air Filter(trashed the K&N), 395K on Body, 165k on engine.

    I actually purchased a 94 YJ last Labor Day with the intention of doing a 6.2L diesel swap. I just recently sold the Jeep, though, due to the fact that my wife and I are expecting our first baby.....something had to go!!
