I change my fuel filter every 10,000 miles. Is that to short or long an interval under normal conditions. Thanks

10000 miles is a god number , your next filter change cut the top off and see how much of the filter has changed color. if its all black its done if you sitll have 3/4" thats still lt yellow you could go longer next time. If your going on a LONG trips out of the USA I would take a case of filter ..... water and dirty fuel can be issues south of the us.
