    Anatomy of the
    Hot Rod

    Book Review

Doug Mitchel's new 11" x 11" book, "Anatomy of the Hot Rod", doesn't contain any diesel equipped subjects, but it does feature more than 400 superb photos of nearly 40 different Hot Rods and custom pickups, roadsters, coupes, convertibles and sedans. We can all appreciate fine work, style and performance. This is a book for the enthusiast.

Lastest rendition of the work in progress - black primer with quickie flames right out of the gun, no taping or masking. Von Buzz also channeled some 60's energy with some nice pinstriping.

Smile thw Hot Rod Book Review

    Mark,

Will we be seeing this coupe at the Frog Follies in Evansville, IN ?

We welcome all kinds of Hot Rods. I lean a little to the Rat Rod era myself...

Nope, truck isn't legal. The law just states that all exhaust has to exit just past the passenger compartment.

Other than that, the truck is street legal.

But, it does get street raced on occasion, until the fuzz arrives.

Nice rod, Mark - set of small '80's Lincoln rear disk\parking brakes would bolt right on that Ford housing - as would a 351 Cleveland\C6
