C4500 performance products?
Am interested in any performance products that have been developed and TESTED on the C4500 or C5500 platform. My application is a 2004 LB7. Please contact mark_rinker@hotmail.com with any data.
Of particular interest - how is the exhaust braking function implemented, and will performance upgrades via ECM swap disable this system on my truck?

Many of the same tuning techniques used on the pickups work well on the med duty trucks, BUT the extra weight seems to limit what we can throw at the Allison.

The 4.44 gearing should help, right? I am kicking around the idea of testing your switchable tow/street tune on the 2002 K2500 on the Kodiak. Do you see any problem with this?

We'd have to test and see. The LLY that I tuned had a bit of trouble with my 80HP tune which works just fine on the trucks. I'm working with a 2006 with 5:13's and a built trans. The next weak link is the rear end...
