Default New addition to the family

    1995 3500 4x4 dually crewcab
6.5 TD with a Banks stinger system and a chipped PCM
177K showing on the clock now. (second engine as best I can tell)
Best truck of all I have owned new and used.
Has a nice friendly feel to it.
Sort of like your Favorite pair of shoes.
Just really hard for me to keep trucks all that long but I think this ones a keeper

My Chronology of GM diesel ownership
The dates and times are going to be close as it has been too many years to get real specific.

(1984) Bought a 1979 Olds Cutlas Calais with the 260 diesel
    swapped in a 5.7 (350) when the 260 went away at 190K
(1985) Bought an 82 GMC Jimmy 4x4 with 6.2 it had 105K when I took over.
(1987) Purchased an 86 Burb 2500 4x4 with 60K on it and the 6.2 drove it until (94) had 300K when sold.
(During this same time frame I had several "project rigs" that came and went, even had a 79 Blazer with a 5.7 diesel in it)
    (1993) Got a new 2500 GMC 4x4 ext cab with 6.5
(1994) Traded the ext cab for a dually crewcab4x4 with 6.5
During the time from 93-95 we had a 1500 gasser burb
    (1995) Ordered a new 2500 Burb with 6.5
Late 97 saw the 95 Burb traded for a 95 454 Burb due to IP, PMD and all them issues we had no clues then how to fix.
Late 96 saw the 94 dually traded for a Dodge V10
Late 97 saw the Dodge traded for a Ford F350 PSD
Late 2000 saw the PSD gone for an 86 GMC dually 3+3 4x4 here until 2 months ago
Feb 04 saw the 95 454 Burb wrecked and was replaced by a 94 2500 Burb 6.5 TD (still here)
March 04 saw another 94 Burb here as a mate to the other one. (Sold it feb 07)
June 07 saw the Dahooooley come home to the Ranch

Currently we have the one 94 Burb diesel and the 95 Dually CC 4x4 pictured.

Whoa what an assortment of rolling stock we have turned over.
Now keep in mind during that time there was a 76 Lincoln mark4, several other gas rigs a T Bird, two other Blazers a Dodge Ramcharger and a 57 jeep and a 54 Olds along with a small class A motor home. Im sure I have forgotten something along the way but there it is. Also had an MCI 8 road coach with an 8V71 in it (Conversion to motor home, sold in late 93)
Had a 1970 Pete dump truck with 8V71 (Bought in fall 89 sold in summer 93)
My tenure with the GM diesels has been far flung.

When the Olds diesels were real cheap I went and bought a dead one and fixed it. The little Calais would get 26 MPG on the road. (Portland to reno and back)

Well, enough that you can see that I have had a wrench on one or two.

That new rig of Robyn's runs as good as it looks.

She actually let me drive it, -and I gotta tell ya, -it was like getting a shot of 6.5 poison injected right into my veins! -Robyn knew it all along, -but never said a word!

It definitely kicked me in the rear to keep moving along on my engine build.

That thing is one sweetheart of a rig for sure.

    Thanks Robyn!
