Banks D-max 7.96@167mph!!!!

No that's not a misprint. The Banks Type-D Duramax powered drag truck just broke into the 7's with a 7.96@167mph!! The first pick-up EVER to run the 1/4 mile in the 7 second range! I'll post up some video and the time slips as soon as I get them!

Congratulations to the Banks team!! The suspension guys must really have it dialed in as well. What's the engine turning for max rpm and what's the truck running for a transmission?

NO SMOKE!

It's pretty embarrassing to watch the majority of the Cummins and highly modded V8 diesels (Max, P-Joke) run down the track with nothing but a HUGE plume of smoke following them, many times you can't see the truck at the end of the 1/4 mile!

i thought it was gonna be a full size, thats a S10, thats just a baby and a lot lighter than a K or C series truck

I just read in Diesel Power magazine where the Type-D is producing 1000-hp and is running a single "stock" CP3....
