    Default 454 78 G30 van to 6.5 mech injection

Looking to put a 6.5 in a 78 G30 1 ton dually van chassis (motorhome). My thought is this should be fairly straight forward. My donor is a 93 K2500 complete with trans. Motorhome is a 454 with a TH400. Goal is to tow my 28ft race trailer behind the 22ft coach.

Do I need a different torque convertor or is the big block TC the same? (if I use the TH400). Chassis will already be a hydro boost. The only snag I see is turbo location.....will I need a van turbo and manifold?

    Any input welcome!

You will need a diesel torque converter and a diesel governor.
