    Default 1997 Suburban for Sale

Up for sale is my 97 K1500 6.5 Burb.

I've owned it since this fall.

It's got a 4" suspension lift, 285/75R16's, and the LT package.
    Fully loaded!
    4x4
Recently serviced trans, T-case, and axles
    80% treadlife remaining
Less than 3K on all new brakes
New PMD from Heath, located on the driver's side bumper vent with heatshrink and 7 yr warranty.

There are 197K miles on the clock
Vehicle has scratches like any other 11 yr old vehicle.
I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country, tomorrow.

    Asking $8500 obo

    Willing to do a partial trade late 80's or 90's model 2500/3500 SRW 4 door GM pickup with a manual trans(preferred), 4x4 or a ScoutII/Wagoneer/K-5 Blazer-Jimmy.

Let me know what you've got. This is currently in California, about an hour north of Sacramento. The title is clean, but a recent Carfax has shown that this originally was a lemon and was bought back by GM and repaired. They obviously did a good job, as it's approaching 200K and running great.

I can get more pictures, and am more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

You can contact me here or send me an e-mail, mharoldson at hotmail dot com.

    THANKS!

Forgot to mention that the windshield is currently cracked, I will have it replaced prior to it's delivery date.

I probably won't change it before I have a buyer, because I've had too many "New" windshields pick up a chip within the first couple weeks, that I don't want to risk it, especially if it's going to a new owner.

Also, the oil spots are from my 91 Burb, which I sold a few months ago.

Did some thinking, and I'm going to lower the price. $8000 obo

Anything reasonable will not be refused. Saw a 99 6.5L on the side of the highway near here with a sign in it for $12K! It had 180K on it as well.

You won't be disappointed with this truck!

15-18 mpg depending on how much you push it!

This has had a lot of views, price to high?

Make me an offer, I would probably come down some, or if you have a vehicle to trade, let me know!

I just looked it up, and the first place I found on google wanted $1600 to ship this thing from here to Miami and $1400 to Chicago.

Considering the costs of flying out and driving it home, this isn't too bad. You may spend an extra hundred by shipping it, but that's several vacation days you can save for later.

Just thought I'd throw that info out there.

I really need this to go. Supposed to deploy in two or three months and would rather not have it sit while I'm gone.

4L80 auto, supposedly it was rebuilt at 135K. I cannot confirm that as that's what the previous owner was told by the original owner. No reciepts, but it shifts and drives better than many that I've driven with under 100K.

    Another bonus.

Just installed a new A/C compressor today. The old one had a clutch bearing quit and it was easier and cheaper just to install a new compressor.

Filled with refrigerant and lubed up.

Also, noted the alternator was replaced in late 03 early 04 per the decal.

Still here, I will potentially be traveling to Minnesota near the beginning of August. I might be able to bring this thing anywhere in between northern Cali and there if someone wants. I won't bring it there for you to look at though.

Dropping the price to $7000, it's a little lower than I post elsewhere, giving the folks at TDP a break.

I need this to go. I deploy in September and don't have a place to keep it, don't want it to sit in an old parking lot while I'm gone, and really need a truck to haul some of my stuff anyway (Will buy one upon return).

I have the title in hand, willing to put in a full tank of fuel with the purchase. Heck that'll save you $205 and get you over 800 miles down the road (depending on your speed of course)!

My cell number is 9 oh seven, 9 seven 8, nine 0 one one, feel free to call and ask any questions. If I don't answer, I will call you back, I'm not permitted to answer the phone all the time where I work.

    Thanks for looking!
