    Default Stupid fuel filter question

    Im working on my buddys 96 chevy with a 6.5

    Its sputtering occasionaly so I want to replace the fuel filter. I went to O'reillys and got a new filter and what the gave me was the style that goes into a canister.... I cant find where the hell it would go on the truck


    Did they give me the wrong filter or am I stupid?

    Default Filter

    The Filter Housing on 6,5 is at the rear of engine,behind plastic cover if installed.If you do a search on " Fuel Filter" it should point you in right direction.
    98 c/c l/b 4x4 dually 6.5td i/c,boost cntrl,boch h/f,4in straight ex,boost/pyro guages &h/f air
