    Default Stacked Diesel

    This isn't working to upload pictures of the truck with stacks. I loaded them to the photo album, but I can't get them here.
    1993 HD2500- 4X4, Nv4500, rc/lb, Lots of mods, killed her. Awaiting her TT rebuild!

    2002 Camaro L36/M49- Killed In Action

    1995 HD2500 - 4X4, NV4500 rc/lb, GL4, Turbo, exhaust

    I have to admit to a soft spot for stacks - probably due to my big rig days. For my own pickups, stacks just aren't practical for me though.

    But I had to laugh the other evening. I was sitting at a traffic light and a Dodge with big tires and all the trim and dressing made the left turn in front of me. Had big ole stacks behind the cab - looked like they must have been six inches in diameter. But as he rolled on it as he pulled away from the intersection, something just didn't seem right. Took me a moment, but then I realized that it had to be a gasser and also noticed that the exhaust was coming out from under the back of the bed...

    I think they're cool! Wish I could put them on my Suburban!

    1963 wife, one owner, average mileage for the age but in excellent shape, a keeper
    1992 daughter, low mileage, pretty, limited edition, but requires some money to maintain
    1995 son, sports model, very fast & peppy, time will tell on durability and maintenance costs
