    Default 1984 6.2 - 24v to 12v

I have an 84 1 1/4 ton 6.2l military pickup that I want to convert from 24v to 12v. Besides the starter, is there any other change out components?

PM me with your email address and I'll send you a pdf on the 12v conversion.

Is there any particular reason to do this as there is no problems running the 24volt setup. I run with the 24volt system over here with no problems and use it to jump start all sorts of equipment from big rigs to scissor lifts etc.

I have all my accessories (6 spotlights, Beacons, CB etc etc) wired to the second battery to even up the load on each alternator and battery.

I also removed the blackout driving lamp and fitted a second stinger plug wired for 12 volts and fitted heavy duty croc clips to one end of my stinger leads(jump leads).

    regards from Scotland
