    Default prom chip

    i'm looking to buy a chip can i just give prom # or do i have to remove my intake to get my pump number
    95 2500 5in pipe air intake remote pmd cooler #9 res. marine inj. dual 5in stacks full gages kennedy chip more to come

    With a little luck and a little creativity you can read the tag on the pump with a mechanics mirror. And a flash light helps too!

    Generally all you need is the tag numbers off the Chip and or the ECM

    If you are mixing and matching pumps, its a great idea to have the IP number too.

    If the truck has been running ok and or is stock, the tag numbers off the ECM and the Chip will suffice.

    Generally the only setups that got at all hinky were the pumps used on the HD 94 models
    (5068 pumps) These required things to be right spot on with chip programing.
