    Default 6.2, 6.5 differences

I just bought a 1975 gmc k2500 with a 6.2 or 6.5 swap. The air cleaner housing says 6.5 but im not sure if its right. It does have v belts which need replacing. Did the 6.5 ever come with v belts? Thanks

6.2's and 6.5's are so similar that it's hard to tell what it is unless you get the cast number off the back of the engine.

    It won't really matter though.

The accessories are likely off a 6.2 engine, the trick is which application (truck, van, hummer, etc.)
