IsIsis the injector pump new or rebuilt? Next time it won't start, pour lukewarm water over the pump and try again. If it starts your pump is worn out, the water cools the pump and tightens up loose tolerances enough to get it started.

the warm water trick worked so i guess that means new pump which i have
its just sad to tear that far down after you just put it all together

Before you change the pump, try adding a quart of 2-stroke oil to 5-6 gallons of fuel. If it improves, then that also points at the pump. If it doesn't improve, I'd continue looking...Originally Posted by brentshalla
