Default need info on '92 6.5 TD

Howdy, Bought a '92 6.5 TD to replace blown engine in my '92 PU. This engine has a round plastic thing with 3 wires comin' out of it on pass. side of inj. pump. And a small round plastic thing with female plugin where vacuum pump would go on a 6.2. Mine has neither of these things. Can I take'em off, leave'em on? And will use my turbo, the little wheel has no end play but a little side play. Should be good? Replacement engine is a '92. Thanks for any help.

Device on the side of the injection pump is a Throttle Position Sensor, used with automatic transmission trucks.

The other is a oil pump drive with speed sensor for giving the Transmsision Control Unit RPM information to operate the shifting of the transmission.

You can swap this piece out or leave it in there.

Both items won't cause you grief if left in place, but I'd remove them both to fit the manual trans application.

Thanks John8662, never even thought about an automatic. Any thoughts about the turbo?
