    Default Walker BTM

Does anyone use one of these on a Duramax? I know the Ford guys love them (I had one on my Excursion as well) but it doesn't seem to be very popular for the Duramax.

I have a 2002 crew cab, long bed 2500 4x4. All I want to do is replace the stock muffler with a free flowing muffler. I "assume" this muffler (walker btm) will work, but most of what I have found (through searching this forum) is complete systems or Magnaflows or ABP (not sure that is right).

Just want to make sure it will not do more bad then good if I replace only the muffler

My experience with the OE exhaust system is that many have done the straight pipe mod with minimal gains. Going to a 4" system does produce nice gains well above what a muffler delete does.
