    Default random 6.5l conversion thoughts

    ive seen a chevelle with a twin turbo duramax and ive seen a old boat(i belive was caprice) with a cummins but has anyone thought of a 6.5l-car conversion? think of the power/milage!
    1998 Chevy Silverado Z71, 5.7l 350ci vortec, no mods....yet...white very pretty condition, full length running boards

    I have seen a camaro with a 6.5 at some point on the net. Google for pic's and a video

    Local fellow here has a Corvette with a 6.5 TD in it.

    If you can stuff a Chevy Rat Motor in the thing a 6.2/6.5 will fit too.

    The Older Oldsmobile big blocks were a tad wider, so there is a comparison for you.

    yea, he was talking about making some more and selling them. i would do it if i could.

    A 6.2/6.5 can be installed in any GM vehicle that was available with a factory big-block gas engine - and some others with mods. The 6.2/6.5 has about the same general footprint as a big-block, but the diesel weighs a little more. Some have used big-block coils in the front to help with the added weight (in cars that came with a small-block) and some have used air bags. Click the following link for some ideas..
