Start Mystery

First turn of key - nothing happened, no turnover, no sound, just like it was already remote started and you turn the key by mistake. Second turn starts per normal and it just stops about 2 seconds later. Worried frown on face but third turn is the charm. Noticed lately a slight delay when key turned to start position but can't really say it hasn't been that way since I bought the truck in November 2008. Any ideas? If it does it again it is right into the dealer but like any intermittent problem ...............

There was a software update/recall for ECM/passlock issues related to starting. I'd have teh ECM updated IF there was never a tuner installed.
