Fuel line rusted
Looking under my truck to see where I am going to mount my Kennedy Lift Pump . Moved main pick-up line and at the disconnect started dripping . The male line is all rusted where it plugs in the female. So it looks like I will have to drop the tank and run the rubber fuel line from the pick-up tube. It appears to be the only fuel line that is rusted . Thought that was kind of weird.

Bummer, to be sure, but it happens. While you're in there, you might consider Kennedy's fuel supply line and pick-up kit. It'll never be easier than when you already have the tank out.

Gotta love Minnesota's use of road salt. I can't figure out how anything grows in the ditches in the summer....

line repair
Lifted box off to get to top off tank . Run new fuel line and installed Kennedy lift pump . Getting the plug out of oil filter housing to install pressure switch was a real treat. Sure is easier to work from top looking down than bottom looking up .
