Question my scan DTC 44, mechanic scan DTC 35?

Here is something strange......I was getting a DTC 44 code with my scanner, mechanic checked it prior to clearing the system and he pulled a DTC 35 code, injection pulse width too short? After he cleared the system, and I drove home. I checked it again and it says no codes exist...not sure what DTC 35 is all about, search continues.....

    Default

DTC 35 - Injection Pulse Width Error (Response Time Short)

This can be caused by a failing PMD, sometimes by the Optical Sensor or some other internal component.

DTC 44 - EGR Pulse Width Error

This only applies to the light-duty 1500 series 6.5L diesels.

If the codes don't return, you may be OK....
