Default 1996 Chevy Tahoe Cummins Conversion

I just bought this truck yesterday and thought I would share with everybody some pictures of the conversion. The 1993 VE pump Cummins runs very good and the drive train seems very solid other than shifting into 3rd gear. I have to double clutch it in order to shift into 3rd without grinding it. I also don't like how high it is and I'm going to see what I can do to lower it. It's so high that you feel that you're disconnected from the road. The vehicle goes down the road with more body lean and body roll than I used to. Other than that, it's a nice vehicle that was previously taken well care of.

    1993 Cummins 6BT VE pump
    NV4500 5 speed transmission
    3.42 gears
Transfer case and differential from 1 ton Chevy truck
    6" Rancho suspension lift
    3" Body lift

Lots of clearance between engine and radiator. One problem I see is if I remove the body lift, the fan will contact the hood. Looks like I'll need to use an electric fan to get around this issue.
    1990 ¾ ton 4x4 Chevy Suburban
-Cummins Diesel - 12 valve - factory rebuilt
-6 speed bullet proof manual transmission - NV5600
    -Gear Vendors Overdrive
    -Upgraded Holset HX-35 turbo
    -NP205 iron transfer case
    -3.73 gears

    1982 ½ ton Chevy Suburban
-6.2L diesel - high nickle crack free 1982 block
    -Stans headers
    -Ported heads
    -Timing gear
    -4 speed automatic
    -3.08 gears
    -30 mpg on freeway

    GM A/C Pump

    Engine to transmission bracket

    NV4500 Transmission

Transfer case out of a 1 ton Chevy truck

Plenty of clearance between engine and transmission. Looks like I might be able to remove the suspension lift

An intercooler will be one of the first things to go on it. It'll eliminate that turbo to intake cross over pipe so I can remove the body lift. However, I will not be installing a P-Pump. The VE pumps is so much quieter and it already has more power than you know what to do with.
