Default 1998 Chevy 3500 1 Ton diesel stalling

1998 Chevrolet C3500 diesel engine dies randomly when driving down the road - uphill, downhill or flat surfaces. Typically doesn't happen when it's cold. Sometimes it starts back up and sometimes it doesn't. When the engine dies, the Security,brake,anti-lock and service engine lights all come on. Sometimes you hear a clicking under the dash. A new ignition switch was just installed and diagnostics done with no answers. The remote mount PMD kit has also been changed out twice as well as the electrical fuel box. All repairs were done in 2012. I am at a total loss of what could be wrong...

As stated on the other forums, the pmd is a good place to start, just because it's new doesn't mean it's good.... do you have a known good spare pmd to try??

Edit--- when it's hot and doesn't start, pour some cold water on the pump and see if it will start... but it does sound like a pmd thing to me..

Do you have any codes ???? Might also check for loose connections in the pmd cable also...

    Default Pmd

As mentioned above, the PMD was replaced twice and it didn't make a difference. It's gotta be something else. Part of why we are at a loss...

Have you cleaned all the ground connections?

Checked all electrical connectors? Clean and spray with electric contact cleaner, use dielectric grease.

Tried the forum trouble shooting guid?

Just a few ideas off the top. . .
