    Default Savana Van 6.5TD

Last spring I added this 1997 6.5TD GMC Savana to my fleet. It has a simple conversion, but it is a long wheelbase and has the high roof. Here are a couple photos.

My '87 Ford IT is similar, although it has the extended body as well as the LWB. And it sports the IH 6.9 NA diesel. It's also a basic conversion but without the raised roof. It's my baby! Paid $300 for it in 2000, took me 6 mos. working weekends to make it roadworthy; fortunately the drivetrain was well cared for (by my ex-brother-in-law), but almost everything else was neglected...
