Hello everyone. New to the board. Long time diesel mechanic, first time diesel owner. Been turning wrenches on the side for 15 years, Uncle Sam provided my initial diesel training and lots of practice, so 6.2 and 6.5 N/A is where I began. Went 93 for manual pump and easy bolt-on upgrades. Know what I need to get where I want to be as far as power goes, hoping to find some tips and tricks here to make things easier on the wallet.

You really do possess an eye turner for a truck. As Australians, we are unsure of how many of these vehicles are currently driven in the USA, just assume many - but all I know for sure is, if you drove around here in that stunning machine, you would be forever stared at; and have people from all walks of life, asking you questions. It is such a classic, and I think when these trucks and similar come in that red colour, brings them yet again to a whole new level! At least your parts are cheap in the USA (compared to here!). Happy and safe driving!

Fat butt trucks are just in a class all by themselves
Here are a few pix of my truck.
We recently got the fresh AMG engine in and running.
I have minimal need for the rig now, so I gave it to my son in law.
These super long wheelbase trucks have a ride that is second to none when it comes to 4x4 trucks.
Now turning them around is another story
