Is a specific injector socket mandatory, or can I use a 32mm extra deep socket to clear the injector top?

The "injector socket" just makes it easier, especially when removing/installing them with other junk in the way (it has a hex top like a spark plug socket, so an end wrench can be used). Use whatever works, as long as the socket engages the LOWER flats, and doesn't damage the return nipples.
Thank you. Expected as much just wanted to be sure.
For those curious that 32 mm is also 1-1/4" (less .009")
I've used a standard socket, but ground it down on the outside for extra clearance.
