    Nick:

My 2010 Avalanche (shares the same chassis with the burbies) has both a panhard rod and sway bar. Might be able to adapt those for your 99.

    Stay safe.

So,. After some googling,. I have found out i' m not actually looking for a sway bar,. But a stabilizer shaft gm# 15640308. For 1992-2000 K 3500 cab and chassis.
But,. The plot thickens,. Fleabay has some but shipping weak looney buck etc final price is just silly, and i'm poh.

After finding the part i need i just buy it from gmpartsdirect in canada,.
But that part# does not work,. It works on a google internet search,.

The avalanche bar is shaped wrong to work with the 10.5 banjo and leaf springs,..

We followed a late 1990s Suburban on the freeway for a few miles the other day, and I noticed that it had a rear sway bar... I daydreamed a bit about adding one of those to my Lil Red project...

I think the automakers added rear sway bars to help prevent rollovers... Good idea!

Mine is the 1500 with coils but I do know some of the earlier ones were available as a 2500 (leafs??). The earlier ones were available with the 454 and the Allison so these might cross to the correct sway bars/panhard.
