Default 96 GMC Sierra 6.5 turbo diesel

Hi, i am new on this forum - Sure hope i am actually doing this the proper way
Here is my issue #1 - The brake pedal goes to floor - Does not seem to have a leak in the Master Cylinder. Before this happened i would put oil every 2 months or so
Issue # 2 - Won't start, tried to charge batteries, and also had a boost and knocked on starter to see if this would work, well no luck. When i turn the key there is power but won't start?

Welcome to the best GM diesel site
#1 were you putting oil in the power steering pump or brake fluid in the master cylinder?
#2 sounds like a ignition switch issue i had on my 98,but i would check your starter before jumping to the ignition switch.Did you try to activate the starter by applying power to the small terminals on the starter it's self?
Good luck, with some more information you should be getting a few more responces

"Won't start" covers a lot of ground. Does the starter motor torn the engine over?

You didn't put engine oil in the brake system, did you?
