Alright, This is my first post. I have a 97 2500. These are good trucks but the DS4 pumps are junk. (poor design). I have found little information on the DB2 conversion for us with OBD2. However I don't think there is much of a difference with OBD1 per Bobbie Martins write up. So for the people with OBD2 this should work for us. I will be using a stand alone TCM unless someone here has a different idea. There are many DB2 injection pumps available for sale most diesel shops can build them to 4911 spec. Also you can convert the HMVE 24v to 12v but I think the throttle shaft is different and won't allow a TPS sensor. I am going to try to add a lot of pictures as possible. For me a new truck is out of the question as newer trucks are way over priced, plus there is a lot of aftermarket support for these trucks as well.
