    Default Gauges

Anyone installed gauges on their L5P or are they even necessary?

    Hi Denny,

I'd be inclined to go with one of the aftermarket monitoring systems that's available for these newer trucks. Although having an A-pillar pod with a couple gauges still look cool.... Jim

I have an 06 K3500 with LBZ. I have gauges and it is surprising how it can drive up the pyrometer on a hill empty if your not paying attention. Your rig is constantly loaded. Gauges are an extra set of eyes.
