    The engine is back in the Burb, the 3rd mechanic is putting all the accessories back on, hopefully it will be running this weekend. Hard to believe its gonna be a year since the oil line blew.

    Anyway...are all the bolt-holes the same size for all the head bolts/valve covers bolts? It appears that the 2nd bolt hole from the front on the pass side is either larger or was bored out somehow, by the first guy who tore it down? Just wanted to make sure how it was supposed to be, and what I should do (if anything) to correct it. Thx

    The two head castings are the same, but are installed in opposite directions. Is the second hole from the rear on the driver side enlarged?

    its on the passenger side. Can I hele-coil it?

    ps: I noticed we have similar kinds of diesel veh's where in TX are ya?
