Thumbs up

Hey I have the same truck ! Here's what I've done so far and it works much better.

I went to P255/70/15 tires, only one inch higher, but handles amd looks much better. I carry a 1100 # truck camper and tow boats all summer long.
Throw the restrictive dual exhaust away and go to a big (3" +) single exhaust or big duals. Modify your air cleaner by opening up the snorkel and removing the inlet muffler. The Banks Stinger kit is complete with full exhaust, intake breather mod kit, k&n filter and Banks pyrometer. Works wonders for $700.00. I felt like I had a new truck.
In the middle of installing a dual idler timing gear set and hi-flow water pump.

You'll not be sorry if you go this way. There are other choices out there, but this worked for me.
