Shop says crank pick up. Have not gotten back yet.My fear would be the DSG crank gear may have move on the key or the gear on the pump.
It's about closing time,so I'll have to call.
Could this be possable?
Up date. Changed pick up and they want to see how it starts when cold.
This has been the big deal for once warm,hot truck runs fine

whet were the symptoms other than a code 19? Did truck start ok in cold weather?

Started really bad,cold. Even in garage with heat the truck would start but would go in to a ses light and rattle as though the timing was advance way pass any thing I have heard in a diesel. Once warm and a key cycle all would be normal.
When cold it wanted to start,smoke like heck,keep cycle glow plug and would start.
White smoke like I've never seen.
Thats the story,Scan showed timing good,pump good, fuel supply alright.
End of story,changed out crank sencer and now have the truck back as it should be
One small code 19 would cause many code to happen.
