Required reading for a new diesel owner....Black oil means only one thing! It's black

True to a point, as mine is definitely black, but better than pre-bypass samples were. What we see as black, and the ferro lab sees as black are 2 different things.
My pre bypass oil had to be diluted MANY times to enable viewing on the slides. My post bypass oil comes back with a particle count cleaner than most of the FUEL coming from the OE Racor filter!
