During a return back from northern New Hampshire last night (outside temps 19 degrees), my wife complainded that cool air was blowing on her feet instead of warm air. I mentioned to her that the there was plenty of warm air coming from the foot wells of the drivers side of the truck as I was not having any problems.

Well after 30 minutes of this, I pulled over to see what her problem was and sure enough the passenger side floor heater was blowing cold air. After cycling the air direction controls as well as the recirulation, cold air continues to be the norm for the passenger side.

Has anyone run into this problem or have any ideas what I should look for before I take passenger side foot heating system apart?

    Cool

    ItsMrBill,

There was a service bulletin for the 2001 trucks to address this complaint. I'll see if I can locate the TSB number - I think I have it in my files somewhere.

I'm moving this topic to the 2500HD/3500 HD Trucks & Drivetrain forum.
