Sounds like you are considering a conversion. The 6.6 will fit, but what transmission does your truck have now? Personally, I'd use the Allison...

Thank for info it is an 1984 chevy k30 crew cab dully it hase a 6.2 400trans is no good the truck came with a nv4500 and a 5.9 cummins in the box wanted to keep all gm I was put a duramax to the nv4500 to mont the nv4500 to the druamax I would use the dodge input shaft make a spacer for bellhous to block south bend side they could make a clutch
