I have an Escort brake controller installed on my 2002 HD. For some darn reason it works fine until I turn on the truck lights. Then it acts as if it is getting a small signal from the truck running lights themselves.
I thought everthing was hooked up per the GM supplied harness, but there alwasy seems to be an extra wire. Anyone else notice this.
Any one have any clues. Going to yank it all out in the morning and start again. It pulls and works like a champ during the daylight hours, but when you turn the lights on it is a horse of a different color.
