what is the best turbo to put on a lly to get rid of the varuable veain turbo?
Why would you want to replace the variable vane? Did yours fail?
Not a very common question around here - I know there are aftermarket units available, but the stock OEM peice is thought to be acceptable, if not slightly undersized for the LBZ.

lb7 turbo is ball bearing and ball bearing turbos work better. My trubo stated leaking oil after just 10,000 miles plus a stock turbo will not flow enough air ir you want to make some horespower
The LB7 turbo is not ball bearing. It will get you to about 500RWHP.
The VVT will get you to 470-ish. Not as much as teh LB7 but pretty darn close.
