    Default Lower shock absorber conversion

Has anyone made a conversion bolt assembly for the shocks on the 1994 trucks? I want to use the single horizontal large bolt mount shocks on my truck when it came with the two vertical bolt system on the bottom mounts. The top mount is the double pancake model from the factory and my spare shocks share the same top mount.

I'm sure someone has done it, but I've not heard or seen. If you're dead-set on it, you'll probably need to weld the late model brackets to the axle, or onto the existing brackets. I have a dead 1995 axle here (somewhere), and I could cut off and send the brackets to you. It's a 10-bolt from a K1500. Maybe try looking locally, first.
