If you made it this far.... On Sept 8th when our truck went back after the injectors we did receive a rental- had an 04 Trailblazer for the weekend, then Monday picked up a 04 Silverado. Was a POS...but it was better than nothing.

You will also notice- during the pump replacement, 2 oil filters and 20 qts of oil...well, that's my doing. I wanted my oil changed- the truck run about 100 miles, and the oil changed AGAIN...no clue if it did any good- or if they only did it to satisfy me...

All in all my service writer, and tech were good during this. And I must say one thing- my truck, whose 3rd birthday is next week, is now running better than it did when we picked it up new.

The black smoke is gone, the horrible smell that was so bad you could not have the windows down at idle. The nasty rough idle at stops...the "crackle" it made if you got after it (not a good one, sounded like a gas engine with no oil LOL)....everything is gone. The truck is reacting like it should. We towed one of our John Deere's today around for a bit, just to see how she'd react...and by golly, she knew what to do! Fuel mileage is back up at 19.5-20.5 a gallon (we've gone through 1.5 tanks in 4 days LOL)...

Any other questions, let me know and I'll try to answer them.

    Off to change my sig!
