Default Electrical trouble with my 6.5

Hey y'all I'm new on here and I really need some help with my 6.5. I have a 98 6.5 turbo Silverado and I don't have any power coming off the other side of my glow plug relay. sometimes the truck starts up and then it'll die and I wont have anything. None of my wait to start lights come on or any dash lights will come on but I have power to my radio and headlights will come on if I turn them on. Could it be in the ignition switch? Has anyone else had this issue?

    Default RE electrical trouble

Good morning. Just a thought try checking your battery cable terminals the side post terms can be a pita sometimes. I chased a problem like yours for weeks. I cleaned the, then used jumper cables to both batteries. (Make sure positive to positive negative to negative) I'm sure the experts will chime in here soon. I hope this helps. Walt

Ignition switch is a likely suspect.

Cleaning the battery terminals is always a good 1'st move, then clean the grounds off of the intake manifold paying close attention to the passenger side on the last bolt..... keep us posted on your results. A lot of us here have had the same problem, at one time or another. Oh i almost forgot, clean the negative battery wires on both sides of the intake also!
