    Default 4L80E gas vs diesel

Anyone know if there are any differences between the gas and diesel transmissions (besides torque converter)? Since they are electronic, is everything controlled by the computer so it is just a matter of reprogramming, or are there mechanical bits that are different? I'm asking because I want to install one in the dually now and it would be great to be able to use the same trans when I convert to diesel.

IIRC, the torque converters are different.
