Can you folks decipher the casting numbers for me. It has what appears to be the Navistar casting marks
S/N # 10137667
S6090 (this one could be upside down. It works both ways 0609S)

They appear to have been installed on an engine.....silicone goop remnants on the Valve cover lip..
The bolt hole pad shows having had contact....

Only sure way is the precups will have a ball to locate them in the head and be magnetic if china or other. Real gep will have non magnetic cups and a bump for the locator...

They came off a new optimizer motor, but the engine was for a hummer, so they took off the heads to put the hummer units on. Never been run apparently. I’m gonna have to check the pre cup as trailrider said.
