Thanks for posting the info about all of your high-mile 6.2's. We'll run the contest through to the end of this month, then we'll select that truck/Sub with the highest mileage, and request a digital photo of the odometer and vehicle, along with a little history.

bought a truck yesterday its an 88 gmc k3500 6.2 odom says 940,000 miles HAHAHA. driving it home the numbers turned in pairs.

hey there, I just signed up to this site, it seems pretty cool, and there is lots of info, anyways i have a 1983 GMC Sierra Classic 2500 6.2L, it has just under 192,000 kms on the original engine.

hey guys im a newbie but i got 488+ on my 1990 c1500,new injector pump and 3 fuel filters on the truck.3.08 gears auto trans....trucks in great shape plus i just had it painted,my first oil burner but i love it much better than my gas hog z71 on 35's

Got 278k out of my old Blazer. Injector pump first replaced at 90k. At 200k replaced the pump again, new head gaskets, (just in case, it didn't need a pump or new gaskets) and a Banks turbo. Started using a lot of oil in 2005, and its been parked in the shed at my parents place since early last year. Ran great when I parked it, aside from using a quart of oil every 700 miles or so.

K1500 -88, 461000 km, odometer somehow stopped about 3 years ago.
Timing chain just replaced, original injector pump (works quite fine except rough idling).

BTW, speedometer still working, any tips for odo trobleshooting?
