    Default 07 Duramax in C5500

Just started serviceing 4 new 2007 C5500 buses w/ DA's, 5 more on the way. Local bus company is overwhelmed w/ work on their 50+ over the road buses so we will service their smaller ones for a while. The engine is stout enough to spin the duals in packed gravel, haven't found anything else to do that in the back lot! Sure is tight in engine area, trans area is nice and open. Did not notice a fuel cooler. had to relocate the exhaust pipes to meet state specs, all had the new cooling tip on the exhaust end to help deal w/ regen heat. Hopefully we will service long enough to see any problem w/ the new emmissions requirements. bob............

    Question

What are you getting at JACK? Is there a specific problem?

    carco:

Forgive a simple question, but do you know why the c5500 advertise less hp than a regular pick up truck? I'm considering a replacement for my 3500 and might upsize.

I think they govern the trucks @2500rpms so they dont rev the horses out like a regular pickup (32-3300ish)
